The Placer RCD team is honored and thrilled that our Prescribed Burning on Public Lands Program (PBPL) was highlighted in a wonderful video in the recent CAL FIRE Community e-newsletter. We are so proud of the fire mitigation work our team does within our county and region, and incredibly grateful to CAL FIRE for the funding and partnership that allows us to engage in these important projects.
If we’re going to reach the million acre goal of the Governor to reduce wildfire across California and treat a million acres, it’s going to have to be one acre at a time.
