With the goodwill and support of the public and partnering agencies, Placer RCD has provided technical assistance to thousands of people and impacted many more through projects designed to protect communities from catastrophic fire, assist in climate change mitigation, reduce soil erosion, improve soil health, improve water quality, protect biodiversity, grow food and fiber, and more. In short, we’ve helped people help the land ensuring working lands continue working within the Placer Resource Conservation District.
