The USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service and the Placer Resource Conservation District are looking for input from farmers, ranchers, forest landowners, and land managers like you! Financial assistance is available to landowners & land managers for conservation activities in Placer County, but we need help determining the most important natural resource concerns to better align our initiatives. In doing so, we are asking you to complete a survey and inviting you to attend our in-person Local Working Group Meeting Wednesday, September 28th at 6 pm. This is both an in-person and virtual meeting (hybrid). A link will be sent to those who wish to attend virtually.

The NRCS has multiple financial assistance programs that aid agricultural producers and forestland owners in implementing resource conservation practices. Financial assistance is available and awarded competitively based on natural resource concerns and priorities. The survey above is intended for people working and/or living within Placer County and the information provided will be used to help shape Local or Regional Priorities. Please complete and submit the survey by September 21st.
