Water is a critical resource that touches the lives of every resident within the Placer Resource Conservation District. The Placer RCD is endowed with nearly 120 streams, natural springs, many lakes and reservoirs, canals, meadows, ground water storage, snow, vernal pools, wetlands, riparian habitat, natural springs, and more.
