In Placer County, an increasing number of people are embracing gardening, with community gardens playing a pivotal role in strengthening our sense of community and improving food security. In response to this growing interest, we offer technical assistance for community gardens within the Placer RCD service area. This assistance covers many topics, including starting a new community garden, weed and pest management, organizational development, soil health, efficient irrigation, orchard assistance, and more!
