Cathy was voted in to be a member of the Board of Directors for Placer RCD in April 2021. She is a tireless and dedicated environmental stewardship expert focused on environmental contaminants and wildlife conservation. Her diverse career includes environmental investigations, environmental compliance, conservation planning, and strategy. She has the unique ability to marry scientific focus with leadership and negotiation acumen to ensure policy initiatives are met and aid to bring diverse and sometimes opposing groups to common ground. Cathy is a dynamic leader and manager focused on team collaboration and driving initiatives.
Cathy graduated from UC Davis with a B.S in Soil and Water Science and continued to her M.S in Environmental Chemistry. She is a UC ANR Certified Naturalist and Climate Steward and enjoys everything outdoors – sea to summit and everywhere in between.
