The Chipper Operator is responsible primarily for operation of a track chipper in varying terrain on large scale forestry projects and adhering to safety regulations and compliance. They may be responsible for loading branches and woody debris, interacting with crews, warehouse maintenance and vehicle and chipper maintenance. The position may assist the Chipper Program Manager with duties associated with the residential chipper program. This position may interact with the public. Experience operating a track chipper is required.

Status: Non-exempt, part-time (up to 32 hours per week)
Reports to: Chipper Program Manager
Location: 313 Nevada Street, Suite B, Auburn, CA 95603
Pay rate: $22.00/ hour
Work schedule: Part time, variable
Tentative start date: April 2021
