Patricia is a long-time resident of Placer County and a long-time board member for Placer RCD. Patricia has owned her family ranch since 1982 and with it a voice for farmers and ranchers in Placer County and is highly motivated to protect the agricultural community.
Patricia is the first woman to graduate from CSUC with a teaching degree in vocational agriculture which she taught for three years. In addition to her role with the Placer RCD, she is a board member of the Placer County Agriculture Commission, member of the current member of the Tahoe Cattlemen’s Association, and a member of the Placer Nevada Cattlewomen. Responding to a passion for the land and increasing land-development pressure, Patricia entered her ranch into an agricultural easement with the Placer Land Trust which will preserve the ranch as it exists today.
