**The chipping service fee may be waived for residents who:
Possess a disabled/handicap vehicle placard,
or
Have a household income not exceeding the “very low limit” as defined be the State of California Department of Housing and Community Development.
In order to qualify for “very low-income status” your total household income must not exceed the gross income limit for your family size indicated in the chart below.
