Rx 101 Workshop

This is the Placer RCD Prescribed Burning Program’s flagship workshop that has been hosted for 3+ years. Learn from local experts about the fire-dependent ecosystem, fire effects on native plants, unit prep and hazard mitigation, cultural burning, liability, and more! This classroom workshop provides the context for WHY prescribed fire is a critical tool for land management and HOW landowners and community members can directly engage with it. Participants will be invited to a training burn for boots on the ground experience as weather allows.
