Evaluating Farm-to-School Funding Opportunities

This workshop, co-hosted by UC Cooperative Extension Placer-Nevada and Sierra Harvest, will provide information and hands-on support to foothills farmers and ranchers who are interested in applying to the CDFA’s California Farm to School Incubator Grant Program. Participants will learn how to evaluate funding opportunities against their business plans; gain insight from food service directors and past farmer grantees on successful farm-to-school partnerships; and leave with a draft of their application if desired. This workshop is designed for people with established farm businesses. Space is limited.
