Rx Fire 101 Workshop

The Placer Prescribed Burn Association will be hosting an Rx Fire 101 Workshop, covering topics such as permitting, liability, heat management, unit preparation, hazard abatement, fire effects on native plants, and more. These workshops will include 4 hours of classroom instruction, followed by an hour of facilitated discussion and Q & A. This is a great opportunity for landowners to bring specific questions that they have regarding obtaining permits, questions on liability, or just general questions about prescribed burning in their community. Although this workshop is entirely in the classroom, participants will be invited to prescribed burns throughout the season to gain hands-on experience. We hope to see you there!
