The Placer County Chipper Program, operated by the Placer Resource Conservation District (Placer RCD) provides a low-cost, residential chipping service to help landowners manage their vegetation and meet defensible space goals.
Cost-share fees may be waived for homeowners who either possess a disabled/handicapped vehicle placard or have a household income not exceeding the “Very Low Limit” as defined by the State of California Department of Housing and Community Development.
Household Income: Very Low Limit
The State of California Department of Housing and Community Development determines what qualifies as a “Very Low Limit”. As of April 7, 2021, the limits are as follows:
