DESCRIPTION:This course is taught by a panel of experienced instructors and is a great opportunity to learn about many different aspects of prescribed fire including permitting\, liability\, fire effects on native plants\, heat management\, landowner resources\, and much more. If you are a landowner interested in using low-intensity fire as a management tool for your property but unsure of how/where to start\, this is an excellent educational opportunity for you. Please see below for logistics and registration link. \n\n\n\nWhat to bring: Please be prepared with lunch\, water\, and snacks for the day. Please bring a notebook and pen/pencil if you’d like to take notes. A formal curriculum will be shared on the day of the workshop. \n\n\n\nPlease note\, this is a classroom event and will be paired with scheduled demonstration prescribed burns as conditions allow. \n\n\n\nWorkshop Description: \n\n\n\nPlacer PBA is dedicated to equipping landowners with the knowledge\, skills\, and confidence to implement low-complexity prescribed burns.
